On Wednesday, 22 September, Krka employees walked, rode a bicycle or used other sustainable means of transport to get to work. For the sixth year in a row, Krka took part in the activities of the European Mobility Week. Our commitment to green mobility is gaining momentum, as many more of our colleagues from Krka's business network abroad joined the campaign. This year 15 Krka companies and representative offices took part in the campaign, strengthening our commitment to preserve the natural environment for future generations. Sustainable means of transport are becoming a habit for an increasing number of people, not just a one-time act.

In the first half of 2021, the Krka Group total revenue amounted to €808.6 million, a 1% increase compared to the same period last year, yielding €177.4 million of net profit, up 11% year on year. The Supervisory Board of Krka discussed the 2021 semi-annual business report for the Krka Group and Company at their regular meeting yesterday.

The 27th Annual General Meeting of Krka, tovarna zdravil, d. d., Novo mesto is currently held at the Šport Hotel in Otočec, Slovenia. President of the Management Board and Chief Executive of Krka Jože Colarič has presented key 2020 Krka Group business results and some preliminary operating results for the first half of 2021. The Supervisory Board is due to discuss the final unaudited operating results of Krka and the Krka Group for the first half of 2021 at their regular meeting of 28 July. The 27th Annual General Meeting of Krka, d. d., Novo mesto was held at the Šport Hotel in Otočec, Slovenia today. The Management Board presented the 2020 Annual Report, including information on the remuneration of Management and Supervisory Board members, the auditor's report, and the Supervisory Board’s report on verification and approval of the 2020 Annual Report.

This year's Krka Awards Day was a celebration of the achievements of Krka employees and their contribution to company success. The current circumstances forced us to organise 24 smaller events in the period from 24 May to 3 June. The main event, smaller in size than in previous years, was held on 28 May at Otočec. We honoured Krka employees celebrating their 40-year anniversaries, best Krka Group employees and managers, and all those who excelled in the field of innovation. Last week we also thanked the Krka employees who retired in 2020. The events were held in accordance with the valid measures for preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus.
